A mother has been charged
A Yate woman has been charged after her child failed to attend school.
The woman, was charged with failing to provide reasonable excuse as to why her child was not attending school.
The child is aged 14 and was a pupil at Bristol Metropolitan Academy.
The 33-year-old mother will now appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on January 8.
The Gazette has withheld the name of the lady.
