A South Gloucestershire man has received a series of hefty fines in court after being found with drugs whilst attempting to rob a hotel.
Mateusz Zajac, of Filton Avenue in South Gloucestershire, was caught in the plant room of the Premier Inn in Cribbs Causeway that was ravaged by a fire last summer, on August 18.
He was also caught with 35 tablets of Methandienone, as well as under a gram of Amphetamine.
He was fined £512 after pleading guilty in Bristol Magistrates' Court on January 3.
Zajac, from Poland, was also ordered to cover other court costs, resulting in him having to pay £632.
