A FREE homework club is starting in Wotton under Edge next month.
Starting on February 6, The Baked Bean Homework Club will be held at the Baptist church hall in Wotton each Thursday from 3pm to 5pm in term time.
It will be open to pupils in year 5 and upwards initially.
It is a completely free club, offering free tutor help, particularly with maths and English.
The aim is to provide a quiet, supportive and friendly place in which to complete homework, or ask any questions.
Laptops will be available, and a snack will be available at beginning of the session too, also free.
All volunteers are enhanced DBS checked.
Pupils are welcome to come as little or as often as they want, with no requirement to stay throughout the whole session.
