Police have issued a warning for black ice, with cold weather set to continue.
A Tweet from Gloucestershire police's Force Control Room this morning stated: "We are still getting calls about problems with black ice on some of the minor roads within the County causing issues."
The Met Office's forecast for the South West today is "A windy day with brighter spell and some showers likely throughout. These showers could fall as snow over higher ground, with some hail possible at times. Feeling cold, especially in the wind.
Tonight a a dip in temperatures leading to ice and frost patches forming is forecast.
Tomorrow is set to be a 'chilly and potentially icy start'.
