A CHARITY group will be walking from Tewkesbury to Stroud to raise funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance charity.

The group Two Guys and a Bull was founded by Conrad Bull, Ian Guy and his son Bradley Guy in 2017.

Ian and his group raised £1,500 for Motor Neurone disease during their first charity walk in 2017, when they walked from Bristol to Stroud.

The charity was chosen as Ian sadly lost his mother and sister because of the disease.

Two Guys and a Bull then raised £2000 for the animal charity Teckels after walking from Upton-on-Severn to Stroud, with £1,800 raised again for the animal sanctuary after walking from Newham on Severn to Stroud last year.

Now the group will be embarking on a walk from Tewkesbury, to Cheltenham to Gloucester, to Stroud.

“We started off with three people, then four, last year we had five and this year seven people are joining,” said Ian.

This year the group are looking to top all of their previous targets.

“Each trip the air ambulance does, which covers most of Gloucestershire and Bristol, costs £1,750 per trip, we’re going to try to raise £3000.

“This charity saves a life an you cant put a price on a life,” said Ian.

The group do a lot of training for the walks, and Ian is always inspired by how people help along the way.

“People are always brilliant when they see us and the passing traffic is great,” said Ian.

This year the group will be dressing up as superheroes on their walk.
