Yate Shopping Centre has officially confirmed that Miss Millie's Fried Chicken will be opening in the near future.

The centre manager Andrew Lowrey has said that it is 'fantastic' to welcome such a big chain to Yate.

“It’s great to welcome Miss Millie’s chain to the Centre, a well-established local brand," Andrew said.

" A variety of restaurants is an essential part of the Shopping Centre’s portfolio and Miss Millie’s will bring the bonus of take-away and a 40 seater sit down restaurant.

“The premises is in a high-profile location and has a history as a take-away outlet having previously been occupied by Hotcha”.

Miss Millies Fried Chicken is due to open in the vacant 5-6 North Parade with fit-out scheduled to start in March.

Miss Millie’s has eight branches across Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare.

It offers customers the highest quality chicken, cooked in its secret recipe coating.

With big plans to rebrand and expand the business even further across the southwest, Yate seemed like the perfect place to start.

25 jobs will be created when the store starts trading and it will open daily from 11am until late and home deliveries will be available in the near future.

Yate Shopping Centre is asset managed by Ellandi and the property management is headed by Cushman & Wakefield.
