I HAVE just read with dismay your article on the likely closure of the Co-Op at Cainscross.

Has the Co-Op review committee given any thought to the inconvenience this will cause to silver tops like myself in the Cashes Green area.

We need a local shop where we can buy our necessary groceries where will we get our prescription medicines from draw our pensions do banking.

Not only will we lose our shop, we will lose our pharmacy and our local Post Office.

Perhaps our very helpful ex MP David Drew could have some influence on the Co-Op.
