A major road for motorists will be completely resurfaced much to the delight of residents.
Goose Green Way will be closed for some time between February 26 and February 29.
Residents have complained that the road has been in desperate need of repairs due to the high number of housing developments being built in the area.
South Gloucestershire Council has revealed that the road will be closed between the hours of 8pm and 6am on the days.
A 'major resurfacing' will take place on the day.
In the information provided by the council they said: "Essential roadworks are to be carried out on Goose Green Way on the roundabout at the junction of Randolph Avenue by South Gloucestershire Council.
"The road will be subject to major resurfacing works.
"The works will involve the planing off of the existing surface of the carriageway and the laying of a new surface.
"The work will start at 8.00pm and remain in place until approximately 6.00am.
"These works will create a significant amount of noise."
