Emergency services were called to Tesco in Yate earlier tonight after a serious car crash.
The incident took place at around 9pm and involved a silver Audi, a Peugot and another car.
It was reported that the silver Audi drove in to the car park at high speed before crashing in to the Peugeot.
The Peugeot was then sent in to another car.
Police and ambulance crews attended the incident and treated the injured drivers and passengers.
A witness had said that the drivers had been taken to hospital although this has since been clarified by the ambulance crews.
All the airbags on the left side of Peugeot were set off in the incident.
There have been concerns raised by residents about 'racers' that meet in the car park.
A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 21:05 to reports of a road traffic collision, reportedly involving 2 cars.
"We attended with an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle, a patient was treated at the scene."
