MEMBERS of the Stroud Constituency Labour Party have nominated Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership.
In a vote held yesterday evening, members also chose to back Rosena Allin-Khan as deputy leader.
Starmer is favourite to become the next Labour leader and has the support of more than twice the number of constituency Labour parties than Rebecca Long-Bailey, his nearest rival.
The new Labour leader will be announced on April 4.
