The road has since been cleared
TRAFFIC has now cleared after an earlier accident on the A340 this morning (Thursday).
The incident took place near Cranes Road, Sherborne St John, during the morning rush hour.
The road was affected in both directions with delays of up to 30 minutes reported.
But the scene has now been cleared with traffic passing through as normal.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for further information.
