A car ended up on its roof after a crash in Thornbury this morning.
Fire crews and the ambulance service were called out to the crash on the A38 between Grovesend Road and the Berkeley Vale garage at around 6am.
It is thought that the car aquaplaned and lost control, crashing in to a street lamp.
Fire crews helped clear a fuel spillage that was left on the road following the incident.
The vehicle has now been made safe and cordons are in place due to the live electricity arking in the rain.
