Steve Rolfe is a photographer who has big ideas on a very small scale.

He creates images under the "Little People" brand using miniature characters.

The results are incredible. Here Steve explains how his art came to be:

"I'm a professional photographer and my photographic journey began in 2010 when the Little People were created.

"I stumbled across the idea of using model train figures in my art and they are used to create a world within another world.

"They were placed in the real world for humans to find or walk by and not even realise that they're being watched.

"They have been featured in both local and national newspapers and even been sold in a New Jersey art gallery.

"My creativity really comes to life with the Little People and new ideas for scenarios can pop up from just walking down the street and seeing abandoned can in the gutter.

"We have a number of different scenarios covered, from fun images how to make a ready salted crisp to how a polo is made to a burning car to more harder hitting campaigns like Noir which is to do with mental health and depression within men.

"We have the young workers at a bullet factory to austerity food shopping and to something very topical and the couple trapped in a flood.

"My website for the little people is www.littlepeoplemedia.com and houses various images which also include some lego figures."
