A primary school in Yate has closed its doors from this morning due to a number of teachers self-isolating.
It means that St Mary's Primary School closed due to the fact that it was not able to function appropriately for the students.
A spokesman for the school said that there were no suspected cases of coronavirus and it was just because of staff taking time off as a precaution.
In an email to parents at the school, the spokesman has said that they will 're-open once they have enough staff'.
"We are planning to re-open the school once we have sufficient staff available to do so and once we have further information, we will update all families," the email said.
"We are sure you will join us in wishing all of our staff and any families that have been unwell a speedy recovery and I hope to be able to welcome you all back to school as soon as possible.
