Today the UK Government are sending out texts to the public outlining the latest instructions as the coronavirus pandemic isolates the country.
The text states that new rules are now in force and that individuals must stay at home. The text includes a link directly the Governments dedicated coronavirus page.
The link shares the information on the Government website that explains what is now expected of the public:
'Stay at home
Only go outside for food, health reasons or essential work
Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
Wash your hands as soon as you get home'
Prime Minster, Boris Johnson, yesterday, announced to the nation that these new procedures can be enforced by the police. Large gatherings of people will be dispersed and fines can be issued.
