Michael Gove, gave some clarity for blended families today as he announced on twitter what is permissible for children of separated parents.
The tweet, in response to Good Morning Britain's host Piers Morgan, said:
"I wasn't clear enough earlier, apologies. To confirm children should not normally be moving between households, we recognise this may be necessary when children who are under 18 move between separated parents. This is permissible and has been made clear in the guidance"
The guidance says:
'If you work in a critical sector outlined in this guidance, or your child has been identified as vulnerable, you
can continue to take your children to school. Where parents do not live in the same household, children
under 18 can be moved between their parents’ homes'
