A 71-YEAR-OLD drink-driver from Berkeley has been banned for 12 months.
Gary Wright, of Wanswell, pleaded guilty to the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on March 6.
He was stopped in his car on Oldminster Road, Sharpness, on November 22, last year.
Wright was found to have 111 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit being 80 milligrams.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £525.
