As the coronavirus pandemic forced barbers and salons across the country to close, successful barber, Sean Rodman, decided to make a short film of himself cutting his own hair to inspire others to take up the challenge and to keep people interacting despite the lockdown.

Successful barber, Sean, owner of Kings Barbers in Yate and Wooton-Under-Edge cut his own hair personally, for the first time in his career. He put the video on Facebook and received a flurry of responses of men attempting their own styles at home.

Sean said: "I put the video up when I was 4 days into isolation, I already needed a fresh, new trim, so i thought no doubt, others would too.

"I knew other people would start doing their trims, so I made the post for people to upload their pictures of their home trims and for it to make us all laugh.

"It was a good way to interact with each other in these isolated times, that is what half of it is about. And to remain positive and have some good banter.

"Whether you're one of our customers or not, head over to the King's Barbers Facebook and drop your own pics.

"I wish the upmost safety for everyone and that you are all staying at home."
