Residents in Yate and Chipping Sodbury raised concerns as a helicopter circled the area around midnight last night (April, 7)
The National Air Police Service were called in for air support, following reports of an incident in Yate.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police confirmed:
"Police responded to reports of a break-in at a building supplies company in North Road, Yate at about 12.05am.
Two people were spotted.
Police enquiries into the incident are continuing"
