Police were called to a home in Chipping Sodbury in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, April 9, following reports of a break-in.
Two men were seen fleeing the scene. According to a local resident this is the second attempted break-in in the street within a matter of days, and is the third within the area this week. Two people were reported to have fled an attempted break-in at a building supplies company in North Road Tuesday, April 7.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said:
"We were called to reports of an attempted burglary in Finch Road at about 2.50am this morning (Thursday, April 9).
"Two males in dark clothing were seen acting suspiciously but fled the scene when disturbed. They were seen running in the direction of Scott Way.
"Officers conducted a search of the area but were unable to trace the individuals."
