Yate Heritage Centre is appealing for your memories of "Going out in Yate" for an exhibition in October.
During lockdown, a team at the centre are undertaking research on the history of Going out in Yate for a display, which will open at Yate Heritage Centre in October.
The exhibition will cover going out in the evening from earliest times, to the present day.
If you have memories of the cinema that first occupied the space in Yate Shopping Centre, where Anytime Fitness now resides, or any information, including old photographs of nights out in the local pubs or village halls, Yate Heritage Centre would be keen to hear about them.
