A Woman from Stroud will be walking 25 kilometers to raise money for charity in memory of her father.
Kimberley Okey is raising money for the British Lung Foundation after her father Frank passed away from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on December 27, 2018.
Kimberley, who will be undertaking the challenge this Wednesday, said: "I wanted to do this for the memory of my Dad, and the main thing that inspired me was to help other people and to raise as much money for the British Lung Foundation as it's close to our hearts."
She will be walking to Stroud, then to Selsley common and kings Stanley, and then to Stonehouse and around Cashes Green.
Kimberley said: "It’s been a traumatic time still trying to come to terms with his passing, but I’m trying to turn it into a positive by doing this walk in his honour and to raise money for this charity to help other families.
"If any of my friends and family would like to donate to this cause and to sponsor me for the walk I’d be truly grateful."
