Rescue crews recovered the body of a man in a lake at Cotswold Water Park last Saturday.
It followed a search for a missing man near South Cerney.
A Gloucestershire police spokesperson said: "Overnight on Friday (May 15) police were searching for a man who had been reported missing.
“Colleagues from Severn Area Rescue Association were deployed to assist in the search and sadly a body was recovered from a lake near South Cerney.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s next of kin and the coroner have been informed."
The rescue team discovered the body in the early hours of May 16.
