No new deaths from coronavirus have been recorded at the Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust over the past 24 hours, latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 191 people had died in hospital at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as of 5pm on Monday (June 1) – the same number as on Sunday.

A week ago, there had been 187 deaths recorded.

No more cases of coronavirus have also been recorded in Gloucestershire, the latest official figures show.

Public Health England figures show that 1,374 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am Tuesday morning in Gloucestershire, in line with the same time on Monday.

A week before, there were 1,368 cases.

Across the UK, 277,985 people had tested positive for coronavirus as of 9am on Tuesday, up from 276,332 at the same point on Monday, Department of Health and Social Care figures show. As of 5pm on Monday, 39,369 people had died.
