Myra Peters

Myra is the love of my life.

Myra died in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on May 18, 2020 from pneumonia after surviving Covid-19.

She lived in Stonehouse and was a member of several local history groups including HOTS, the History of Tetbury Society.

She was editorial assistant as well as business manager for The Woodcock Press, which published, among other Gloucestershire titles, A Boy in Tetbury, by her father in law, Frank Peters.

Her family is devastated by her unexpected death: her husband, John; her children, Richard and Sarah Helen; her grandchildren Jonathan, Christopher and Alice, all locked down at university; her brother Eric

and sister Linda, and many relations, friends and people whose lives she had touched.

At Myra’s request there will be no funeral.

Maxine Henrietta Ponsonby
