As the 19/20 season comes an early close, Forest Green Rovers has confirmed its player releases.

Farrend Rawson is among eight players to be released by Forest Green Rovers.

The central defender, 23, will leave The New Lawn after his contract expired at the end of the season.

Also leaving the club are welsh duo George Williams and Liam Shepherd, as well as player/coach Matt Mills.

Dayle Grubb, Elliott Frear, Junior Mondal and Kevin Dawson have also been released.

Chris Stokes, Joseph Mills and Nathan McGinley have all been offered new deals, while academy players Vaughn Covil and Harvey Bunker have been promoted to the first team.

The following players remain under contract: Aaron Collins, Adam Smith, Carl Winchester, Dominic Bernard, Ebou Adams, Josh March, Lewis Thomas, Liam Kitching, Matty Stevens, Shawn McCoulsky and Udoka Godwin-Malife.

Loanees Conrad Logan, Jack Aitchison, Jevani Brown, Odin Bailey and Rob Hall have all returned to their parent clubs.
