Two keen quizzers from Olveston have spent lockdown writing their own quiz book.
Mike Lewis and Chris Smart have published Quiz Encounters of the Trivia Kind.
The book, which contains more than 180 quizzes on a range of subjects, was initially released on Kindle for £3.99 with all proceeds from the first month's sales going to the NHS.
"It won't be a fortune but it is our way to appreciate their efforts on our behalf during this terrible pandemic,"said Mike.
A paperback version is now available on Amazon for £7.99.
The authors are both veteran quizzers. Mike is the lead writer and presenter of The Inquizitors, a professional quiz outfit who have presented quizzes for numerous corporate and charity events.
Chris has been involved with quizzing for 40 years and was a winner on Radio 1 Treble Top Darts theme quiz. He has compiled and run quizzes for pubs and local organisations for 30 years and was quizmaster of the highly successful St Mary's Church quizzes for 8 years.
