The Codrington Arms, North Road, will re-open tomorrow.

With new guidelines in place, customers can expect a different experience to before lockdown.

To comply with Government guidelines, new measures are in place at The Cod.

In a post on social media, landlady Jenna Hale, explained some of the new differences:

"When you arrive you’ll need to wait to be shown to your table OR outside area, which ever you have booked.

"This applies even if you’re just having a drink , booking is essential & you won’t be able to stand at the bar.

"Everything has had to be reduced, the amount of tables we have, the menu and our opening hours, to enable us to work safely .

"We are very lucky to have a large open well ventilated space which we know your going to love and feel safe in.

"There will be lots of new signage & hand sanitiser around the pub for you to use.

"The way we serve you will be slightly different, this will all be clearly explained when you arrive.

Jenna added:

"We can not wait to see you all, but please bear with us all as we get used to this new way of working.

"We are doing everything to protect you and ourselves, but it’s going to take time.

"Thankyou all so much for your amazing support, we cannot wait to see you."
