The finished painting
A Thornbury artist has shared a stunning painting he produced of last year’s Thornbury Carnival.
Last year the Gazette published a gallery of pictures from the carnival, all taken by members of Thornbury Camera Club.
One of the images was of a picture of Colin Wise in the early stages of painting the colourful scene in front of him.
This year’s carnival was due to take place today (Saturday, July 4) but had to be cancelled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
In order keep the carnival spirit alive Colin decided to share the incredible finished work with us.
