ANOTHER case of coronavirus has been recorded in Bracknell Forest over the weekend official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 375 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Sunday (July 5) in Bracknell Forest, up from 374 the same time on Friday.
The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
The rate of infection in Bracknell Forest now stands at 308 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 439.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 1,140 over the period, to 285,416.
Bracknell Forest's cases were among the 33,819 recorded across the South East, a figure which rose by 114 over the period.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
As of 5pm on Saturday, 44,220 people had died from coronavirus across the UK.
The rate in the south east now stands at between 0.7 and 1.0, which is a slight rise compared to last week's 0.7 to 0.9.
The R rate measures how many people with coronavirus are infected by a single case of Covid-19.
