A PURSE has been stolen after a car was broken into in Stonehouse.
Between 11pm on Sunday and 6.30am on Monday, thieves have broken into a Vauxhall Viva in the area of Crescent Road.
A purse was taken from inside the glove box, however no damaged was caused.
The victim has since been made aware by her bank that three of her cards have been used.
Officers are reminding residents to remove all valuables from their cars and to lock their vehicles at all times.
