The National Police Air Service was delpoyed to assist officers
A man has been arrested for dangerous driving following reports of a BMW driving erratically on the M5 on Saturday morning.
Police were called at around 8.40am with a report of a white BMW driving dangerously on the M5 southbound between junction 12 and 17.
The National Police Air Service was deployed to assist.
The vehicle and its single occupant were stopped by the Roads Policing Team around junction 17 where the driver was arrested.
No one was injured during this incident and no damage was caused.
