Police raided a house in Yate on Wednesday, July 15 and arrested a man in his 60s.
Avon and Somerset police raided the house in Kingscote, Yate, as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said:
“Officers attended a property in Kingscote, Yate, on Wednesday July 15 in the morning.
"They attended in connection with an ongoing investigation into the attempted importation of Class A drugs.
“A 63-year-old man was arrested and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries and a 34-year-old woman is being voluntarily interviewed too.”
