There are appeals for witnesses after a man was hit by a car in Brockworth this afternoon (Saturday, August 1).
Police were called to Clyde Road in Brockworth shortly after 4.25pm following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a grey Audi.
Upon attendance it was found that the pedestrian had already left the scene and officers want to check on their welfare as well as finding out if they require medical treatment.
The pedestrian was described as being a white man who was 5ft 9ins tall, of a medium build and had short dark hair.
He was wearing a white vest top with shorts and had tattoos on his upper arms.
Damage was caused to the Audi that was involved and officers believe that the man may have been injured.
Anyone with information on the identity of the pedestrian or who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting incident 342 of August 1.
The road is currently closed whilst collision investigators remain at the scene.
