A familiar face visited Chipping Sodbury today as Loki the Lion took part in Sodbury's summer safari adventure.
Loki, mascot for the Sodbury Lion's club, the attended the safari and posed for photos alongside explorers and shop owners in the High street.
A spokesperson for Chipping Sodbury Summer Search said they 'were delighted' to welcome Loki the Lion to Chipping Sodbury to support the Sodbury Summer Search.
Rich McD, Chair of Chipping Sodbury Chamber of Commerce said: "We had great fun walking around town meeting lots of children doing the summer search, not forgetting the retailers in the town.
"I can report he only ate 3 people."
Chipping Sodbury Mayor, James Ball added:"It's great to see after all of the cancellations of summer attractions and special days in Sodbury this summer, the Summer Safari and Loki have gone ahead as planned.
"Huge congratulations to all involved and especially the winners of the Safari Windows.
"They all did so well and brought smiles to many faces visiting Sodbury. Perro thoroughly enjoyed being a judge this year
