GAZETTE photographer Steve Richards captured a dramatic rescue in the Bristol Channel yesterday.
Steve was enjoying a walk on Saturday afternoon when he saw RNLI Portishead and Coastguard rescuing an injured man with a suspected broken leg on a Rib near Denny Island in the Bristol Channel.
The man was brought in by the Portishead lifeboat crew and then transferred by Coastguard helicopter to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
