CHIPPING Sodbury completed an unprecedented second successive cleansweep as all four Saturday sides romped to victory.

The A team trumped visitors Frampton-on-Severn by 95 runs in the Gloucestershire County League's A South division, opener Jake Reed (57) shining in a challenge of 189-9.

It was then the turn of captain Jamie Rendell to lead from the front with a second successive four-wicket haul as Frampton were bowled out for 94.

Sodbury B moved to the top of Pod L in the Bristol & District League following a 14-run home success over Hanham.

Captain Rob Mozelewski (54) and opener Lee Walters (48) helped their side reach 162-8 before two wickets apiece for Richard Wood, Craig Dyer and Reece Packer wrapped up the win.

It was even closer at Cirencester where Sodbury Extras emerged eight-run victors, Jake Kirkham (55 retired), captain jake Havard (29) and Alfie Greaves (22) shining with the bat.

Sodbury's Extra Extras, meanwhile, held off Carsons Mangotsfield by 45 runs, opener Neil Barrett holding his side's innings together with a crucial 80 while Sam Jenkins added 40.

Oliver Bath (3-15) then led the charge with the ball, Jenkins following up with a return of 2-26.
