AM I the only one who likes the pedestrianisation of the High Street.
Being disabled, the only way I can visit the town is on my mobility scooter.
Now at last, I can visit the High Street without having to carefully manoeuvre myself round walkers on narrow pavements.
I would appreciate more dropped curbs or ramps to enable access to desired shops
Also it was a joy on a summer evening to see so many folk enjoying the pavement cafes outside the Swan and the Lion giving quite a continental feel to the town.
