The A38
There has been a serious crash on the A38 between Rudgeway and Alveston.
Police, fire and ambulance services all attended the two-car crash shortly before 8pm yesterday (Thursday).
One female casualty had to be rescued after one of the cars overturned.
Two patients were treated at the scene, and one of them was transported to hospital as a precaution.
The road was blocked until the vehicles were recovered at about 11pm.
