A 27 year old Yate woman who was caught at the wheel, while more than three times over the drink-drive limit on a busy Gloucester roundabout, has been banned from the roads for 25 months.
Samantha Temple of Maple Walk, Yate, was also ordered to pay £410 in fines, costs and surcharges by Cheltenham Magistrates on September 1.
She pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Walls Roundabout and Corinium Way, Gloucester, on July, 27 this year with 110microgrammes of alcohol on her breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
The magistrates fined her £291 and ordered her to pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge. She was told that she can reduce her driving ban by 190 days if she passes an approved driving course costing up to £250 by 26th Jan 2022.
