Children in Yate and Chipping Sodbury will be treated to a Christmas light extravaganza this year, as a kind-hearted neighbour will light up his home for all to see.
Brian Taylor and his family will proudly switch on their Christmas lights on November 28, with all proceeds from the shows going to charities close to his heart.
Brian will be splitting any donations from visitors between Cancer Research UK and an Autism charity.
Brian said: "My late wife died of Cancer in 2012 and we have two grandchildren who are Autistic.
"We did a big light up last year and lots of people asked if we are doing this year, initially we said no, but we had so much interest last year- we thought we would try and raise some money for charity."
"The Christmas Lights are one of my hobbies and it gives me great joy to see the Children's faces."
Anyone attending the Christmas light switch on, or visiting after is asked to respect social distancing guidelines at all times.
The lights will be switched on at 79 Merlin Way, Chipping Sodbury, at 6pm on November, 28 and will remain on until January 2021.
