THE phrase 'a picture is worth a thousand words' springs to mind when looking at this image of Wotton steakhouse chef Andy Starling.
Mr Starling, who runs the Falcon Steakhouse on Church Street in Wotton under Egde, posted this selfie as a way of summing up his feelings towards the government announcement that restaurants must close at 10pm.
The new guidelines state that all pubs, bars, restaurants and other hospitality venues in England will have a 10pm closing time from Thursday, to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
Mr Starling posted: "Not great news.
"We all had a feeling this was coming.
"Pubs and restaurants have to be closed by 10, doesn’t sound like much of an issue on the surface but to a small dining room like ours where we turn the tables over and have two sittings it literally halves the money we can take."
