Yate United Football club have announced chairperson Ricky Gray has left the club after 16 years service.
The club announced the decision this week and have appointed managers Martyn Banks and Ross Michael to take over as joint chairs until the end of the season, during which time they will review the club, it’s processes and structure from top to bottom.
The duo concede it won’t be an easy task and have put out a plea to current coaches, managers and players to support the club through the new changes.
Ross said: "We will be looking for additional support from parents and the community to move the club forwards, if you are interested in getting involved or you have any ideas for us in our new role as joint chairs would love to hear from you.
"Yate United, our committee and managers would like to thank Ricky and his family for their work and support over the years and wish them the best for their futures."
