Sodbury in Bloom would like to thank local businesses in Chipping Sodbury High Street, who kept their prized planters in bloom throughout the summer months.
Staff from the Royal Oak pub and MODA hotel in Chipping Sodbury continued to water the Sodbury in Bloom planters throughout the lockdown, with Jon Howell Butchers, Fannon Estates and businesses in Hatherell's Yard donating their water supplies.
A spokesperson for Sodbury in Bloom said: "Their help made a huge difference, as it meant we could keep the town centre as colourful as possible and we are very grateful.
"The staff from the Royal Oak are also going to keep an eye on the planters at their end of town and round the war memorial over the winter and keep the chippings outside the Royal Oak and the Portcullis free of litter.
"This will make a difference to our litter pickers which will be much appreciated."
Sodbury in Bloom will be replanting the planters in Hatherell's Yard with pansies in the next few weeks.
