Yate shopping centre have announced a fun adventure for local children during October half term; hunting hedgehogs.

Staged in conjunction with South Gloucestershire Council Community Learning Service, visitors will be challenged to find twenty handmade hedgehogs each hibernating in Centre store windows.

Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager: “Half term and seasonal events are always important features of the Centre’s activities and the challenge this year is more on the Centre’s Management Team to come-up with novel ideas than the visitors undertaking the challenges!

“Working with South Glos Community Learning Services, to whom we are very grateful, we have created an opportunity for people to get involved whilst staying safe. The first ten entries drawn will win one of the hibernating hogs but all entries received will have the chance to win a voucher for use in participating stores.”

Entry forms will be available at the Community Notice board area on East Walk and from many of the participating stores and on completion should be posted in the post box in the central square.

The winning entries will be picked on the afternoon of Monday, 2nd November and announced on the Yate Shopping Centre Facebook page.

Yate Shopping Centre is asset managed by Ellandi and the property management is headed by Cushman & Wakefield.
