A mother has warned parents to be vigilant after her son was followed home from school in Cashes Green today.
In a post on Facebook, Rachel Cawthorn said she was advised by police to raise awareness of the incident.
She said: "My son was followed home from school today from the Hillcrest Road area by a white van with no number plates, no bigger than a VW Caddy.
"However, he is unsure of the age of the vehicle and who was driving as the windows were dark.
"It drove down Cashes Green road after he ran home from the five road junction opposite Cashes Green Primary School at approximately 3.30pm. Please be vigilant."
This comes after we reported earlier today that two men in a white van with no number plates attempted to kidnap a boy on his way to school near Stroud town centre.
