A BREAKFAST club for a group that helps former and current armed forces personnel in Oswestry has found a new home.
Black Hawk Laser Games, based on Mile Oak Industrial Estate, has offered a new home to the Oswestry Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club.
The club meets on every second and fourth Saturday of the month and it provides friendship and support to serving and veteran members of the armed forces.
The group had been unable to use The Robert Jones And Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital that it moved to having outgrown The Derwen College in Gobowen because of the impact of Covid-19.
Over the summer months the group have been meeting in Cae Glas Park in Oswestry.
Zoe Farry, sales and marketing director at Black Hawk Laser Games saw that they were still meeting in the park in the increasingly poor weather and extended an offer to meet at the Black Hawk premises.
She said: “My husband Paul is a veteran, so I was pleased to be able to offer the use of our café area and kitchen to the group for as long as they need it.
"Members of the armed services have a unique bond with each other and support of them during service and beyond is vitally important for on going well being.”
The Oswestry Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club is a Facebook group and any persons interested in the group should contact the groups administrators directly.
