DURSLEY Town Council has confirmed that there will not be a Remembrance Sunday parade through the town this year, because of Covid-19.
A council spokesman said: "There will be no parade this year in the town.
"The nation will be able to watch the Remembrance Sunday service live on BBC One at home and are encouraged to join in a national moment of silence at 11am.
"A huge thank you to all the volunteers and the Cam and Dursley Branch of the Royal British Legion for the wonderful display of poppies around the town."

The residents helped to sand and paint the sculptures and the staff helped to crochet the poppies.
