Chipping Sodbury Town will host its first ever Christmas Tree Trail and competition this December.
Sodbury in Bloom are teaming up with Chipping Sodbury's chamber of commerce to add some cheer, light and sparkle to the town this Christmas.
In addition to the Town Council Christmas trees that line the High Street, over fifty trees will be on display, after businesses and residents were invited to join the incentive and put a Christmas tree outside their doors or in their windows.
A spokesperson for Sodbury in Bloom said: "The response to displaying a tree has been amazing.
"We hope that lots of people will want to follow the trail, in a socially distanced way of course, and enjoy the lights and colour.
"Between the big trees, the small trees and the lights the town centre will be well worth a visit."
The competition will have the theme of ‘Christmas Songs and Stories’ and anyone who takes part in the trail can vote for their favourite tree.
The trail will start on December, 4 and finish on January, 2, 2021.
