Cam Everlands Primary School is set to remain closed for the next two weeks due a 'significant staff shortage'.

The shortage has arisen as a result of teachers being asked to self-isolate through the track and trace system following Covid-19 cases at the school.

On Friday all year four pupils were placed in self-isolation after a single case of Covid-19 was confirmed within the school.

Years two and three have also since been closed, prompting the school to shut on Monday.

The school is due to reopen on Monday, November 30.

Pupils will be carrying out online learning in the meantime.
